Small businesses say postage hike to affect advertising

Omaha, Neb.—Forty-three percent of small businesses surveyed said the postage increase would affect advertising, while 36% said it would not have an effect, according to infoGROUP’s polling service. The company surveyed 1,037 small-business executives via e-mail on June 30 about whether the recent increase in postage would change business practices, in particular advertising spending.
