Published on .

Detroit—David Snyder, publisher of Crain's Chicago Business, has been named a VP of Crain Communications Inc., the company's board said in an internal memo. Snyder has worked in a number of roles at Crain since he joined the company in 1983 as a researcher. He became publisher of Crain's Chicago Business in 2010. “David's a great example of someone who has worked his way through the ranks at Crain and continued to break the mold in every position he has held,” Rance Crain, president of Crain Communications, said in a statement. “His enthusiasm for multiple platforms of news and content delivery is a wonderful model for all our employees at our many brands.”
