Washington, D.C.--Software for automating customer interaction on the Internet is the thrust of a new product from AnswerLogic Inc., which Friday introduced its AE1 Version 1.1 Enterprise Edition brand of products. The software allows companies to build databases of common e-mail, chat and call center customer questions, and respond automatically when the software detects a common theme. AnswerLogic said it supports natural language queries, which will make it faster and more accurate than many custom-developed, in-house systems. It is offering the product both as a software package, and as a hosted Internet service. Pricing was not disclosed.
