Chicago--B2BWorks, a pioneering b-to-b Internet company, ousted company founder and president-CEO Bill Furlong Mar. 18, according to several people familiar with the situation. B2BWorks confirmed that changes have occurred but said that nothing was official yet. B2BWorks aggregates scores of b-to-b Web sites, allowing b-to-b marketers to target a broad swath of industries through a single service. The company has garnered three rounds of venture capital funding but has never turned a profit, one person close to the company said.
