Spaleta named publisher of ‘WWD’

New York—Jay Spaleta has been named to the newly created position of publisher of fashion-trade bible WWD. Spaleta, who will remain publisher of FN, takes on the additional role immediately. Both publications are part of the Fairchild Fashion Group, which is a subsidiary of Condé Nast Publications.  Spaleta, who has been publisher of FN since 2004, joined Condé Nast in 1997 as an ad executive at Vanity Fair.
