Specialty Publishing to launch ‘Connected World’

Chicago—Specialty Publishing Co. announced Monday that it is launching a new print magazine, Connected World. The magazine, which will be published 10 times a year and have a “target” circulation of 300,000, will follow the connected devices market.

The company said the first issue (with a cover date of July/August) will debut at the annual Connected World Conference, which is being held June 15–18 in Chicago.

“Right now, there is no other magazine regularly talking about technology developments for connected devices, for fitness, personal navigation, GPS, connected home, security and smart energy management,” Peggy Smedley, Specialty Publishing’s president-editorial director, said in a statement.

Specialty Publishing also publishes Constructech, M2M and M2M Premier.com.
