New York—Sprint Nextel has awarded its media account, estimated at $745 million, to MindShare.
The assignment comes after a months-long review in the wake of the merger of Sprint and Nextel.
MindShare previously handled media for Nextel, and Publicis Groupe’s Starcom handled media for Sprint.
In June, Sprint Nextel awarded its b-to-b advertising account to Hal Riney & Partners, San Francisco.
Its consumer advertising account went to TBWAChiatDay, New York.
