Sprint teams with Yahoo!

Santa Clara, Calif. -- Sprint PCS announced an agreement with Internet service provider Yahoo! that will allow Sprint PCS to offer Internet access to customers during the fourth quarter. Yahoo! users nationwide will have wireless access to personalized content delivered by two-way interactive services and notifications to their Sprint PCS phones. Later this year, Sprint PCS plans to offer nationwide two-way wireless data communications allowing businesses and consumers to connect to the Internet, corporate networks and e-mail using Sprint PCS handsets as modems to laptops or mobile devices or as stand-alone Web browsers.
