SPSS introduces new version of survey text analysis solution

Published on .

Chicago—Predictive analytics company SPSS has introduced the newest version of its survey response analysis solution, used to extract, classify and analyze the answers to open-ended survey questions.

SPSS Text Analysis for Surveys 3.0 transforms unstructured survey data into quantitative data without marketers having to read and categorize text responses. It categorizes customer feedback from such contact points as phone surveys, Web sites and face-to-face interactions, analyzing their words for meaning and satisfaction.

The new version offers enhanced sentiment analysis, dozens of prebuilt satisfaction survey categories and expanded language support that can turn text responses from more than 30 languages into English.
