Chicago—Stagnito Media announced Monday that it has acquired the media group from Zweig White Information Services.

The media group’s assets include CE News, Structural Engineer and the Best Firm to Work for Summit. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“The goal for [Stagnito Media] is to grow through media launches and media acquisitions in the industrial engineering, architecture, construction and infrastructure industries, both in the private and public sectors,” said Harry Stagnito, president-CEO, in a statement.

Stagnito Media was formed by Harry Stagnito, Kyle Stagnito and Kollin Stagnito, a team with more than 80 years of successful media experience. Most recently, they managed Stagnito Communications, a food, beverage and packaging media company.

Stagnito Media is financially backed by Cardinal Growth, a Chicago-based private equity firm, with more than $500 million under management.
