Stamps.com, Santa Monica, Calif., which said earlier this year it would concentrate on b-to-b, on Thursday announced a trio of deals aimed at landing small-business customers. The company signed an agreement with Automatic Data Processing Inc., Roseland, N.J., which provides payroll services, to promote Stamps.com on its Emerging Business Services site, which is accessed by owners and managers of small businesses. ADP also agreed to pitch Stamps.com services in its quarterly newsletter. NetLedger Inc., San Mateo, Calif., and Register.com, New York, agreed to provide similar marketing support on their sites. Stamps.com, Santa Monica, Calif., is a competitor of Pitney Bowes Inc., Stamford, Conn., and others for corporate shipping services.
