Two states reportedly receive settlement proposals

New York -- CNN reported Wednesday that two of the 19 states suing Microsoft Corp. in a landmark antitrust case received settlement proposals from the Redmond, Wash.-based software company. The terms of the settlement offer weren't disclosed, and the states weren't identified. The trial is scheduled to resume in early April.
