Stengel designated managing editor of ‘Time’

New York—Richard Stengel was named managing editor of Time, replacing longtime managing editor Jim Kelly, who was promoted to managing editor of Time Inc. The appointment is effective June 15. Stengel, who will be the 16th managing editor since the founding of Time in 1923, previously served as Time’s national and culture editor and editor of Time.com.
