StrongMail, Net Atlantic partner to cross-market platforms

Redwood City, Calif.—E-mail and social marketing company StrongMail has partnered with Net Atlantic, an e-mail service provider oriented toward the small-to-midsize market, to augment and cross-market their respective platforms.

StrongMail, focused primarily on larger companies (customers include The Economist, T. Rowe Price and Zappos.com.), will gain access to Net Atlantic’s customer base and sales force, while Net Atlantic will offer the StrongMail platform to its own customers, modified for smaller companies.

“We saw a shift in the marketplace for companies looking for multichannel communications platforms,” William Reich, president of Salem, Mass.-based Net Atlantic, told BtoB. “StrongMail has done a great job at the higher end of the enterprise. They wanted access to SMBs, and we wanted to extend our platform. It’s a win-win.”
