Boca Raton, Fla.—While numerous categories of rented lists continue to fall in price (in a trend dating back more than a year), some categories are indicating a slowing, and even a reversal, in declines.

According to the “Fall 2009 List Price Index” from list management company Worldata, permission-based business-to-business e-mail fell 1.7% from last year to $288 per thousand addresses. However, this represents no change from Worldata’s summer index, indicating a possible bottoming-out of price declines in this category.

Enjoying a slight rebound was permission-based international e-mail. Average prices decreased 3.3% from last year to $406 per thousand addresses, but this is higher then the $404 per thousand average price recorded this summer.

In other categories, business merchandise-buyer lists showed a slight decline from a year ago, down an average of $2 to $116 per thousand addresses from fall of 2008. Only lists of donors and newsletter subscribers showed a year-over-year increase, to $84 and $171 per thousand, respectively
