Study says multiple calls to action spur e-mail success

Bellbrook, Ohio—Among e-mail marketers who enjoy consistent e-mail marketing success, 67% include three or more calls to action in their campaigns, such as inviting recipients to engage with the company via social media, according to a survey conducted by e-mail service provider JangoMail.

In addition, 82% of the top performing e-mail marketers regularly segment their e-mail lists; 92% root out unsubscribes; 77% read three or more marketing publications regularly; and 90% use such reporting tools as Google Analytics or geotracking analysis.

JangoMail's online survey was conducted in August via e-mail, Twitter and Facebook, and produced 204 marketer respondents.
