Las Vegas--Not surprisingly, new research reveals information technology will experience total revenue growth of only 2.8% to $557.5 million in 2002, according to Dataquest Inc., a unit of Gartner Inc., in a study released at the company's "IT Services and Sourcing Summit" in Las Vegas. The study said the unprecedented low growth rates are attributed in part to the lack of a pervasive new technology. In addition, customer relationship management, supply chain management, and e-commerce and Web services will drive moderate growth for the next four years.
