Sugar CRM adds new Web services features for on-demand clients

Cupertino, Calif.—Open-source customer relationship management company SugarCRM has implemented platform improvements and enhanced mobile features as part of its Web-based CRM offering, Sugar Open Cloud.

Among the new features announced as part of the beta release, Mobile Studio Editor provides enhanced customization capabilities to optimize SugarCRM for mobile devices with prebuilt layouts and views. Also, Sugar’s new team capabilities enable users to add multiple individuals or teams to a CRM record to enhance collaboration.

Also new is a framework for creating and managing Sugar Themes, with prebuilt and custom themes with different styles, colors and navigation, as well as the ability for users to create their own unique CRM templates and themes.
