Summit creates Buyer's Guide

Chicago--Summit Publishing, publisher of Packaging World magazine, has launched the Buyer's Guide as part of a redesign of The buyer's guide is intended to help the buyers of packaging machinery and materials locate suppliers online. The buyer’s guide also offers impartial company and product information for many of the listed suppliers. “Most guides allow suppliers to choose their own categories, which can dilute the accuracy of the groups if companies place themselves based on where they think they’ll get most traffic," said Summit’s director of new media, David Newcorn. "With’s Buyer’s Guide, suppliers are grouped into categories by experienced packaging editors, preserving the integrity and usefulness of each product category.”
