Superpages.com, Citysearch partner on local search

Dallas—Internet Yellow Pages site Superpages.com is partnering with online local guide Citysearch to enhance and better monetize online local search traffic.

Superpages.com, an Idearc Media company, will incorporate Citysearch’s advertisers and related content into its own site, as well as Idearc’s online phone book, Switchboard.com. In turn, Citysearch will integrate Superpages.com advertisers into its publisher network, which includes Myspace Local and the business review site InsiderPages.com.

Idearc said the expanded relationship will allow Superpages.com advertisers to gain exposure and increase conversion rates, while Citysearch publishers will be able to better monetize their local traffic while delivering more targeted advertising to Web users.
