Redwood City, Calif.--Support.com Inc. is expected to announce Tuesday plans to provide wireless capabilities to its customer-service suite. The company will release Support.com Mobile Support Solution, which allows companies to reach customers, partners and employees via mobile phones and personal digital assistants. The move is significant because Support.com provides customer help-desk applications. Mobile support could help companies be reactive to situations where customers have grievances, even when the customer is hard to reach. Support.com is used by such companies as General Electric Co., Cisco Systems Inc. and Delta Air Lines Inc.
