Survey: CEOs value marketing more than CFOs

North Kingston, R.I.--CEOs are perceived as valuing marketing more than CFOs at the same company, according to a new report by Mac McIntosh Inc.

The report, based on responses from 185 subscribers to the company's "Sales Lead Report" newsletter, found that 60% of respondents believe their CEO thinks marketing is very important to the success of their company, and 32.4% believe their CEO thinks it is somewhat important.

Only 7.5% of respondents said their CEO thinks marketing is not very important to the success of the company.

In contrast, 38.4% of respondents said they believe their CFO thinks marketing is very important to the success of their company, and 39.5% believe their CFO thinks it is somewhat important.

Also, 10.8% thought their CFO thinks marketing is not very important and 2.2% believe it is not at all important to the success of their company.
