Wheaton, Md.--More than 54% of 4,800 small-business owners surveyed said the Internet is too complicated for profitable marketing without a large investment in time and resources, according to a new survey by Smallbusinessdepot.com. More than 81% of business owners queried said they expect significant electronic-commerce growth, but 59% said building their own companies' Web strategies is too time consuming. About 23% of the companies surveyed do business over the Internet.
