Published on .

Calabasas, Calif.--Many executives are unhappy with their company's internal and external public relations initiatives, according to a new survey. When asked to rate their company's public relations effectiveness on a scale of one to 10, the average response was a 5.8, according to the study by Patrick Marketing Group Inc. Fifteen percent of the nearly 100 executives polled for the survey, meanwhile, said they were unhappy with the experience levels of those running their companies' public relations. Thirty-three percent said their companies' public relations initiatives were too expensive. And 17.9% said their companies' public relations resources were insufficient.
