New Yorkâ€"Nearly all senior executives (99%) at large U.S. companies use the Internet at work, according to a survey released Monday that was conducted by Harris Interactive for The Wall Street Journal Online.

About 97% of the survey’s respondents said they also use the Internet at home. They spent an average of 13.4 hours per week on the Web, up about 20% from 2000, when a similar survey was conducted.

The latest survey indicated that the most popular use of the Internet for senior executives is reading business news (95%).
