Survey finds magazine app users engaged with content

Southborough, Mass.—About half of magazine app users spend 20 minutes or more in the app, according to “Who Is the Mobile Magazine Reader,” a new study released by Texterity that provides digital editions of magazines. The survey also found that mobile readers visit their app about five times per month. More than 80% share content in a variety of ways, including email, word-of-mouth and social media. And 40% said they have made purchases as a result of in-app advertising. The results of the study can be found at www.texterity.com/survey.
