Survey finds senior marketers expect to be in high demand this year

Published on .

Pasadena, Calif.—Senior marketers expect to be heavily recruited this year, according to a new report by the Marketing Executives Network Group.

The report, based on a survey of 751 senior marketing executives, found that 61% of senior marketers expect to be approached by recruiters in 2007.

Also, 69% of senior marketers polled said they were happy in their current jobs.

The survey also found that 72% of senior marketers had been approached by recruiters over the past two years. Of the positions offered, 74% had total compensation packages of $200,000 or higher.

The online survey was conducted by Anderson Analytics during December and January for the Marketing Executives Networking Group, an association of more than 1,500 senior marketing executives.
