Symantec, Critical Path, Accel, others invest $35M in Brightmail

Cupertino, Calif.--Symantec Corp., San Francisco-based Critical Path Inc. Accel Partners, Palo Alto, Calif., and several other companies have invested $35 million in e-mail software developer Brightmail Inc. San Francisco-based Brightmail's clients include AT&T Corp. and Juno Online Services Inc. Brightmail's software blocks spam and e-mail-borne viruses.
