System to ease search for auto parts

Published on .

Lakewood, Colo. -- An agreement between Go Media and Qubit Technology is intended to help the automotive aftermarket by making searching for parts via the Internet easier. The system, called Qubit, will include a wireless Web ``tablet,'' a wireless keyboard and a modem receiver. With the Qubit system, a personal computer will no longer be necessary for collision-repair specialists to access acar.net, an automotive aftermarket portal, which Go Media will embed into the portable Qubit.
