AT&T kicks off new phase of rebranding campaign

Published on .

San Antonio—AT&T rolled out a new phase of its rebranding campaign, replacing the former Cingular brand with the AT&T brand on all in-store signage, store kiosks and point-of-sale materials. Also, the theme line “Wireless from AT&T, formerly Cingular” has begun replacing “Cingular is now the new AT&T” in advertising materials. AT&T executives said the new campaign is important to establishing the AT&T brand as the company prepares to launch the Apple iPhone in late June.
