AT&T, rivals ordered to put rates on Internet

New York -- Federal regulators ordered U.S. long distance phone companies, including AT&T Corp., to post prices on the Internet, to give consumers more access to rate information. The long distance carriers currently give pricing information to the Federal Communications Commission, though the agency wants to phase out that process. The FCC says today's order will make it easier for consumers to get rate information. (From Crain's New York Business)
