AT&T wireless marketing chief resigns

San Antonio—Marc LeFar has resigned from his position as chief marketing officer of AT&T’s wireless unit, formerly Cingular, according to a company spokesman. He will be succeeded by David Christopher, formerly VP-product management at AT&T. A company spokesman said LeFar chose to leave AT&T and the company is not in a position to comment on his plans. AT&T acquired Cingular last year, at which time Cingular became part of the AT&T brand
