TD Waterhouse names global marketing chief

New York--TD Waterhouse Group has tapped Randall Miller as its global chief marketing officer. Previously, Mr. Miller was exec VP-marketing for TD Waterhouse Group subsidiary Waterhouse Securities, New York. In his new position, Mr. Miller will oversee global branding initiatives for all TD Waterhouse Group subsidiaries, including New York-based TD Waterhouse Institutional Services, the company's financial adviser firm servicing arm. His promotion comes as TD Waterhouse Institutional prepares to roll out its first advertising campaign that will not feature the Jack White & Co. logo. Waterhouse acquired San Diego-based Jack White in mid-1998 for $103 million.
