Click Forensics, a company that helps advertisers determine so-called click fraud in their search marketing campaigns, launched Click Fraud Network at the end of February to enable advertisers to monitor campaigns for potential pay-per-click fraud free of charge. Another company, ClickTracks, a Web analytics provider, announced it has added click fraud reporting to its Web analytics software.
Hitwise acquires HitDynamics
Hitwise, a competitive intelligence service, announced it has acquired HitDynamics, a technology platform that combines search campaign management, search marketing reporting and conversion tracking analytics into a single interface. HitDynamics is currently used by agencies and Web site marketers to implement search marketing campaigns and track their return on investment for paid, organic and affiliate search. HitDynamics will continue to operate independently in Edinburgh, U.K. Hitwise said it will now be able to offer integrated search services to global clients. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
WILink's Vcall adds Invitation Manager tool
Vcall from WILink, a provider of Web-based communication solutions and online investor relations services, announced the launch of Invitation Manager, a new tool for Web events that helps organizations build an audience. Invitation Manager advances Web-based communication by integrating pre-event marketing into Vcall's Webcasting services. According to the vendor, Invitation Manager's fully integrated contact import, message templates and html editor simplify the process of developing a target list, creating a compelling event invitation and tracking results to enable organizations to quickly benefit from delivering their presentations and meetings online.
