San Francisco—United Business Media’s TechInsights announced Monday an online portal designed to allow marketers to analyze and purchase online and print advertising programs from EE Times
and TechOnline, as well as other products. The portal, called TechInsights Direct and powered by Balihoo, attempts to automate portions of the ad sales process. The site, www.techinsights.com/direct, will be launched Sept. 2. “TechInsights Direct is part of our ongoing transformation into a comprehensive marketing solutions company for the electronics industry,” said Paul Miller, TechInsights CEO, in a statement.
