Needham, Mass.--TechTarget Wednesday announced two partnerships intended to expand the tech media company’s global reach.

TechTarget said it has formed a partnership with information technology portal ChinaByte to launch Chinese-language versions of five TechTarget Web sites: SearchWin2000.com.cn, SearchDatabase.com.cn, SearchMobileComputing.com.cn, SarchSecurity.com.cn and SearchCIO.com.cn.

“We believe the relationship we’ve established with ChinaByte will serve as a model for licensing agreements for other TechTarget media properties throughout the world,” TechTarget CEO Greg Strakosch said in a statement.

In the other deal, TechTarget partnered with New Era International, a security media company in Taiwan, to produce Taiwanese versions of TechTarget’s Information Security magazine and SearchSecurity.com Web site.

Information Security Taiwan will be published in traditional Chinese and distributed monthly to a controlled circulation of 20,000 Taiwanese information security professionals.
