TechTarget forms partnership to launch products in India

Published on .

Needham, Mass.—IT media company TechTarget and Indian business publisher Indian Express Group on Monday announced that they have formed a strategic partnership to expand TechTarget’s products into India.

Starting in January Indian Express Group will publish local editions of TechTarget’s quarterly magazines—CIO Decisions, Information Security and Storage.

TechTarget and Indian Express Group will launch an India-based Web site in 2007—the first in a proposed network of niche Web sites targeting specific communities of Indian IT executives. The two companies will also work to produce local conferences and events supporting the Indian IT industry.

The agreement with Indian Express Group marks the fifth global partnership TechTarget has signed this year. The company has developed partnerships with Westwick-Farrow (Australia); Vogel (Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Russia and Switzerland); Reed Business Information (U.K.) and Netremedia (Association of Southeast Asian Nations).
