TechTarget logs large revenue gains

Published on .

Needham, Mass.—Information technology media company TechTarget announced Tuesday that it recorded a 55% increase in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2004 compared with the year-earlier period.

The company said its revenue for all of last year was up 44% from 2003. It also posted record profits for 2004 and for the fourth quarter.

TechTarget accelerated its growth last year through acquisitions, new media product launches and international licensing partnerships.

The company said its growth was also fueled by increases in the average dollar value of advertising orders and in the total number of advertisers. It added more than 500 advertisers last year, bringing its total to 2,500.
