TechTarget reports higher revenue, profits

Published on .

Needham, Mass.--Privately held IT media company TechTarget Wednesday reported a 30% increase in fourth-quarter revenue compared with the same period in 2002.

Profits for the fourth quarter increased 35% from a year earlier. Profits for all of 2003 rose 45%, while revenue increased 22%.

"Despite an industrywide chill on advertising spending in the first half of the year, TechTarget grew aggressively in 2003, gaining new advertisers and significantly increasing our business with top advertisers,” TechTarget CEO Greg Strakosch said in a statement.
