Newton, Mass.—Tech media company TechTarget announced that co-founder Don Hawk has stepped down as president. He will remain on the company's executive management team as executive director of product innovation. In this role, he will continue to manage TechTarget's product portfolio, including its Activity Intelligence platform. In conjunction with this move, TechTarget said Kevin Beam has been promoted from exec VP to president and Michael Cotoia has been promoted from exec VP to COO. Greg Strakosch, also a co-founder of TechTarget, remains the company's CEO. “I am very grateful to Don for the sacrifice he has made the last three years commuting weekly from his home in Philadelphia to Boston,” Strakosch said in a statement.
