TechWeb launches Network Computing Web site

By Published on .

San Francisco—TechWeb, publisher of InformationWeek, announced Tuesday the launch of the Network Computing Web site.

Located at www.networkcomputing.com, the site is intended for network, data center and storage information technology decision-makers. It also incorporates the content of Byte and Switch, the former TechWeb site focused exclusively on storage.

“With the worlds of data, networking and storage colliding, things IT decision-makers need to know are changing,” Mike Fratto, editor of Network Computing, said in a statement. “IT executives can no longer take a silo view of IT operations and must realize that networking groups, storage groups, server groups and application groups can no longer be disconnected. The new Network Computing takes a holistic view of technology’s impact on the network.”
