Toronto—Telephone call measurement company Telmetrics Inc. has launched a mobile call-tracking product that captures and reports on data generated by local search campaigns.
The software, a mobile device app called m.Call
, provides information such as call duration and demographics, rather than counting click-to-call events. In addition, the app uses digital tracking IDs, eliminating the need for hundreds of specially assigned call-tracking phone numbers per campaign or location, according to the company.
M.Call is available for devices powered by the Android operating system, and will soon be available for iPhone OS and Windows Mobile 7 devices, Telmetrics said.
