Stamford, Conn.--Direct marketing list provider ThinkDirectMarketing Inc. said it has released a direct marketing package designed to help small and midsize businesses start direct mail marketing programs. ThinkDirectMarketing is giving away the how-to software as a way to sell its list services. Partners in the software project are Avery Dennison, Microsoft Corp., MultiActive Software Inc., Bandwidth Communications and the U.S. Postal Service. ThinkDirectMarketing maintains a list of 100 million business and consumer listings and sells them on a subscription model for about a half-cent per name for its highest volume customers.
