Thomas Register to be published exclusively on the Internet

New York—Thomas Industrial Network announced Tuesday that it is discontinuing its print publications in favor of the Internet. The company said the move reflected "an over 10-year transition to the Internet as the primary information source of the industrial market." Following the 2006 edition of the Thomas Register of American Manufacturers, Thomas Industrial Network will cease publication of the print directory, familiarly known to industry as the "Big Green Books." The Thomas Register Regional Buying Guides will be discontinued as well. The full information from these publications will continue to be available free of charge at www.ThomasNet.com.
