New York—ThomasB2B.com, a sibling company of the Thomas Industrial Network, announced Thursday that it will begin publishing parts catalog information on its Web site.
ThomasB2B compared the effort to the catalog information published on consumer Web sites such as Froogle.com and Shopping.com. The new catalog service is free of charge to sellers, who provide the information according to standard electronic formats. ThomasB2B will generate revenue from the commercial listings that appear on a part of the screen separate from the catalog items.
