TMS rolls out e-commerce Web site for niche publications

Chicago—Tribune Media Services, the content licensing unit of Tribune Co., Monday introduced an e-commerce content service designed to supply articles and images to the producers of niche magazines, newspaper advertorial sections and other targeted media.

The Special-Sections Content Service (www.tmsspecialtyproducts.com) gives users access to a searchable database of stories and images. Suppliers of content to the new service include cars.com, Jupiterimages, the Kiplinger personal finance group, McClatchy-Tribune Information Services and TMS.

The TMS Specialty Products Group, which oversees the development and sale of advertorial content and special sections for TMS, is hosting the site.
