TMX, e2 in marketing partnership

Conshohocken, Pa.--Digital commercial broadcaster TMXinteractive said Monday that it has signed a partnership with e2 Communications to promote audio/video e-mail marketing to e2's 400-strong customer base. E2, Dallas, said it would use TMX's e-mail commercials as part of its marketing and customer relationship management services for opt-in e-mail marketing programs. Marketers are divided over whether audio/video e-mail marketing, which has generally delivered higher response rates than text-based e-mail campaigns, will continue to be more effective as it receives more widespread use.
