Trade publication ad pages decline

New York--Trade publication ad pages declined 4.83% in the first five months of this year, according to Business Information Network figures released last week. The BIN figures indicated ad pages totaled 333,180.1 through May of this year, down from 350,102.96 in the year-earlier period. Computer ad pages fell 17.61%, and telecommunications ad pages dropped 15.37%. Business and finance was one of the few bright spots, posting a 4.37% gain in the first five months of 1999, compared with the same period last year.
