Trade show Web portal launches

Boston—Convention Center Place, a portal for the trade show industry, officially announced its launch Tuesday.

The site (conventioncenterplace.com) is intended to be a one-stop shopping destination for trade show displays and other event planning resources. It offers resources for exhibitors, attendees and marketing professionals.

Convention Center Place combines three primary Web properties: Convention Center Store, which features trade show displays and trade show accessories; Convention Center City, which is a resource for locating restaurants, hotels and other necessities in a specific convention city; and Conventional Wisdom, an online community for getting advice on having a successful trade show.
