Tradeshow managers cautious about 2003

Published on .

Bethesda, Md.--Few tradeshow managers expect their events will grow in 2003, according to a poll released Tuesday by the International Association for Exhibition Management (IAEM).

The poll found that only 18% of trade show managers believe their exhibit floors will be larger in 2003 than in 2002, and only 21% expect the attendance at their events will increase.

The poll was conducted earlier this month among participants of a seminar, “Grow Your Show in a Tight Economy,” sponsored by A2Z Inc. and Frost Miller Group. A2Z develops Web-based software for trade shows; the Frost Miller Group is a marketing communications company catering to small companies.
